Born from a love of quiet pleasures in 2013, the studio has become a place to work with brands and individuals who want custom designs that are hand-rendered, human, and modern. We specialise in calligraphy, illustration, and creative services that add a thoughtful presence to spaces both digital and tangible.
Having studied under the hands of world-renowned calligraphers, founder Christina infuses traditional techniques with a modern sensibility. The honing of these skills have led our team to work with many notable companies, and is reflected in Fox and Flourish's teaching methodologies. We currently offer services in Vancouver, Canada and Melbourne, Australia.

CHRISTINA LUO, OWNER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
On top of keeping Fox & Flourish a well-oiled machine, Christina spearheads all digital lettering commissions, branding, and special event projects. Originally from Vancouver and currently based in Melbourne, Australia, she continues to design and teach calligraphy workshops. She has a soft spot for school supplies, poetry books, and sun showers.
MICHELLE KWEE, CALLIGRAPHER & INSTRUCTOR
As a long-time apprentice of Christina’s, Michelle has mastered the F&F style. Based in Vancouver, she'll be applying her knowledge to local projects, using her extensive experience in event planning to work on weddings and teach workshops. Her 15-year loyalty to honey green milk-flavoured bubble tea is truly a feat.
IRENE LUO, ILLUSTRATOR
Being the in-house illustrator, Irene is our go-to gal for line drawings, watercolour paintings, and custom portraits galore. Her talents can be seen gracing wedding invitations, greeting cards, and even on skin as tattoos. We highly recommend checking out her beautiful Instagram feed. And yes, she is Christina’s sister!
MARGOT, CO-FOUNDER & MASCOT
The “fox” in our moniker, Margot has been with us since the beginning. Her daily duties include greeting clients with an enthusiastic tail wag, and finding all the best sunbathing spots in the studio. She’s quick to identify the best times to take a break from work and regularly reminds us to get some fresh air!
